Upton Junior School is a lively, thriving school in which a positive, safe environment is created for our children. We are proud of our school - children are treated as individuals and their achievements and successes are recognised and celebrated. Our children enjoy being at school and approach their learning with real enthusiasm. The hard work of the staff is rewarded with excellent behaviour from the pupils!

We regard our parents as real partners in their children’s education and this is reflected in our school motto – ‘Working Together for Our Children’s Future’. Parents are always welcome in school and we encourage them to get actively involved in the life of the school wherever possible.

Above all, teaching and learning is at the very heart of what we are about. All that happens within our school is driven by enthusiastic, innovative and committed staff who maintain an impressive standard of teaching allowing all children to achieve their potential.
