We are now in the Spring term!!
We have lots to look forwards to with our Bird watching Trip around the harbour and exciting new topics.
The term starts with us studying the Ancient Maya Civilization - something we have all become gripped with already!! We will show case some of our work on here for you to see.
Welcome to 6 Holly class page!!
We have been working so hard this half term and I am so proud of every single one of you. We are nearly at the end of term and you all deserve the break.
Our excellent World War topic is over and we are well into our topic of Water. We have been investigating the water cycle, what goes down our drain, flooding and pollution.
6 Holly worked really hard and produced some super pieces of work - including an emotive class poem about War:
They all worked together to create this - working in groups of 4 to create one stanza each and then putting it together to produce a whole class poem.
We have also enjoyed visiting Holden Hurst for our trip of this term - everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and it was even described as being 'fascinating'!!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
