Upton Junior School has a fantastic and active Parent Staff Friends Association (PSFA). They are a group of volunteers who work extremely hard throughout the year to raise funds for our school. The PSFA is wholly responsible for organising a wide range of school events such as the Summer and Christmas Fayres, Bingo nights, Raffles and ‘Break the Rules’ day. The events organised by the PSFA are exciting occasions in the school calendar and bring a real sense of spirit and fun to the school.
The PSFA is registered with the Charity Commission (1115106) and all parents/carers are automatically members of the PSFA. You can be involved as little or as much as you would like – holding a committee position, being part of the wider team or helping out when able to run a stall at a fayre. Joining the PSFA is an excellent way to support our school and is great for helping people become actively involved in the life of the school.
If you would like to find out more, please contact the school office and we will introduce you to the Chair. The team are always very pleased to hear from anyone who might be interested in helping out and contacting them doesn’t mean you are committed for life!
There are ways in which everyone can help to support the fundraising activities of the PSFA.
