Welcome to Year 6
Welcome to the Summer term!! (already! - where has the year gone??)
We have so much to look forward to this term - starting with showing off how brilliant we are in our SATS.
SATS week is from Monday 9th to Thursday 12th May so please ensure you (or your child) is in school every day that week. Everyone has worked so hard this academic year and it is time to show off how amazing we are. We are very proud of all of you and want you to do your very best .
Other exciting things to look forward to include Sports Day (towards the end of May - weather dependent) ; Our school Jubilee Day; a beach clean day; the Upton Library visit; a solar farm trip; a trip to Shire Hall and of course Cumulus!! (the residential trip). There are many other things happening this term too - too numerous to mention but needless to say we are all going to be busy and having loads of fun.
We also are hoping to do an end of year performance for all those budding actors and actresses. There are countless other roles such as costume design, music organisation, set design and other behind-the-scene jobs for all to be involved in.
SATS PP - please see below.
CUMULUS...... Please see below
Our children have done really well this year after the introduction of our new behaviour system where we expect all children to follow the following:
1. Ready
2. Respect
3. Safe
They are currently doing a great job and are exploring how following these three aspirations will make a huge difference to their final year of Upton Junior School.
They are loving trying to achieve Platinum every day
Don't forget that you can contact us on our class email if you need to.
