Events at Upton Junior School Week beginning 11th November

Remembrance Assembly this morning for Armistice Day. All the poppies, pictures, paintings and poems the children made last week looked stunning on display. Mrs Willis-Fisher talked about why poppies are worn at this time of year and the school had two minutes’ silence to think about and be thankful to all the people that lost their lives in the World Wars.
