Peripatetic Instrument Tuition at UJS
We are very fortunate at Upton Junior School to have a fantastic team of professional musicians that deliver high quality peripatetic instrument tuition. Our visiting staff demonstrate outstanding musicianship skills and work hard to connect with our pupils so they make rapid progress during each session. They tutor our pupils with a variety of styles and allow them the opportunity to access a variety of techniques. We pride ourselves on their approachable attitude, always having high expectations of each pupil and creating a great working atmosphere. Pupils are prepared for performances as well as exam entrance where requested and they are treated to a mix of musical skills; practical, theoretical and music reading. All our staff encourage regular practise and move pupils forward to the next stage in their learning as a result.
Our peripatetic staff have enhanced DBS clearance, have had safeguarding training update and have also completed the Channel awareness course for Prevent.
Pupil progress and achievement does not happen without the additional hard work that pupils put in through practising and commitment to improving each week. We ask that parents support this approach when they agree to their child having instrumental lessons.
For further information please speak to a member of our office staff.
